Delicious Almond Flour Banana Pie, Gluten & Sugar Free

Almond Flour Banana Pie

Serves: 8


Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Cooking Time: 60 minutes

Total: 75 minutes



- 3 ½ cups almond blanched flour

- 1 egg yolk

- ¾ of a stick of melted and room temperature butter (grass fed and pasture raised)

- 1 tablespoon organic vanilla extract

- 12 ripped bananas with brown dots, sliced

- Walnuts to decorate

- Cinnamon



To make the crust:

In a large bowl combine the almond flour, egg, butter and vanilla extract

Work with hands until slightly rough paste is formed

Spread and press the rough paste evenly into a baking dish (bottom and sides)

Put 3 tablespoons of the rough paste to the side for later use  

Place the bananas over the crust evenly on the pan

Crumble the reserved dough evenly on the top of the bananas

Sprinkle the cinnamon

Distribute the walnuts as wanted

Bake in 325 degrees for 60 minutes
Can be served hot or cold
