Bell Peppers Stuffed with Ground Beef

Time Cooking: 25-30 minutos plus 15-20 Roasting

Total Time: 55 -65 minutos


- 1-pound grass-fed ground beef

- 4 bell peppers, cut in half vertically (no stems and seeds)

- 4 tablespoons freshly shredded parmesan cheese (optional)

- 1 tablespoon ghee or fat of choice

- 1 red onion, chopped

- 6 garlic cloves, minced

- ¼ tablespoon cayenne, finely chopped

- 2 tablespoon fresh cilantro, finely chopped

- 1 teaspoon sea salt


Step 1

In a medium pot heat ghee over medium heat

Add onions, stir occasionally, sauté until golden, 10 minutes

Add garlic, stir occasionally, sauté until golden brown, 5 minutes

Add ground beef, stir occasionally, sauté until brown, 5 minutes

Reduce the heat to low, cover with the lid, sauté 3-5 minutes

Add cayenne, cilantro, and sea salt, stir well

Remove from heat, cover with the lid, reserve

Step 2

Preheat oven 350 degrees

Fill the peppers with the ground beef

Place the bell peppers in a roasting pan

Sprinkle parmesan cheese

Roast for15-20 minutes

Serve immediately
